Spiritual Disciplines II: Victory over Temptation
This course is about practical repentance when we are tempted to sin. The Bible is clear that temptations will come, even when we try to avoid temptation, so the question we need to ask is, “What do we do when we cannot avoid temptation?” That is the focus of this course. This course is designed to equip you to have victory in Christ over temptation and give you tools to live a life of greater holiness and witness in your culture.
Spiritual Disciplines I: Prayer and Repentance
This is a five part seminar that introduces spiritual disciplines in simple language. This seminar is filled with practical tools and perspectives on how to grow in our walk with Christ and live each day with Him. The topics of this seminar are: 1. Prayer 2. Meditation 3. Ceaseless Prayer 4. Don’t Talk to Yourself without Talking to God 5. Repentance Note: You might notice that some spiritual disciplines like fasting are not included in this seminar. This is intentional because some topics like fasting as well as more topics about prayer will be covered in course length depth in other places.
Christology: Jesus’ Claims He Is God
Have you ever had someone tell you they’re “just not convinced” the Jesus ever said He is God? In this course we will look at many places where Jesus says He is God and where others, both his friends and even his enemies knew that He was God or claimed He was God. We will look through three categories of claims by Jesus and the gospels that Jesus is God and also the implications of these truth claims for you, your family, and your community. The three categories of Jesus claiming to be God are: 1. Jesus’ Claims to being God 2. Jesus Claiming and Doing Things Only God Can Claim and Do 3. Worship of Jesus Both Allowed and Affirmed This course is designed to help you grow in your faith in Jesus, grow in your confidence of God’s Word, and be equipped to teach others about Jesus.
